What is kelp?

Kelp is a long-stemmed seaweed rich in valuable minerals including magnesium and iodine. Just one kelp tablet provides 150μg (100% NRV) of Iodine, which is the recommended daily amount for a healthy adult. The body needs very little iodine but it is an important contributor to our health. Kelp is one of the most reliable natural sources of iodine because many vegetables which contain iodine also interfere with the body's ability to absorb it.

Iodine is vital for healthy function of the thyroid gland and production of thyroid hormones. A well functioning thyroid effectively regulates the body's metabolism which helps our energy levels. Service rating: Excellent service as always, if this were not the case I wouldn't have been buying from them for the number of years that I I have. The website is easy to use, the prices always good, stock range and product quality: ditto. delivery is prompt and although I always use the free delivery option I seldom have to wait longer than four days for delivery. Staff are always helpful and friendly where queries are concerned. If I have one gripe it is that as I get older the resealable bags are a pest - opening and resealing them is a real nuisance, but the product remains fresh so.........
